Surrey RCMP look for 2 men after elderly woman robbed inside her house

Investigators in Surrey are asking for the public’s help to identify two men who broke into an elderly woman’s home this weekend.

The two men entered the house in the 13200-block of Marine Drive through an open door around 5:20 p.m. on Saturday.

The homeowner, an elderly woman, was alone inside. She was not harmed, but the suspects got away with some cash.

The first suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his 20’s, with a slim build, average height and blond hair. He was wearing dark-coloured clothing. The other suspect is also Caucasian and in his 20’s. He has a slim build, average height and a dark stubble on his face. He was also wearing dark-coloured clothing at the time of the crime.

The suspect vehicle was seen by a neighbour and was described as a grey or silver older model car (possibly a Toyota) with dull paint, a very “boxy” rear end and a weak sounding engine.
