The magazine Proceso says the body of photographer Ruben Espinosa, who had gone missing Friday, was identified by a family member Saturday afternoon. He had two gunshot wounds, the magazine reported Saturday.

Espinoza, who also collaborated with other media, had recently gone into self-exile from the Gulf coast state of Veracruz, where he felt under threat, according to Proceso. The other victims were not identified.
