CALGARY – STARS airlifted a British soldier to hospital in Calgary with an arm injury Saturday afternoon but he’s expected to make a full recovery.
The Canadian Armed Forces say an investigation into what happened is underway but at this point, it’s believed to just be a freak accident.

They say it appears the soldier got his arm caught in a turret, as it was turning.
It happened at Canadian Forces Base Suffield, which is located near Medicine Hat.
