Two people killed in collision near Camrose

EDMONTON — Two men were killed Sunday evening in a collision south of Edmonton.

Police said a Ford F-250 with a male driver and female passenger was travelling west on Highway 13, east of Highway 21, when it was struck by a Dodge Ram 3500 driving east.

The 25-year-old driver of the Dodge and the 42-year-old driver of the Ford both died on scene. A 16-year-old girl from the Ford truck was flown by STARS Air Ambulance to an Edmonton hospital. As of Monday morning she was in stable condition and being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The intersection of Highway 13 and Highway 21 is nine kilometres west of Camrose, which is a city 98 kilometres southeast of Edmonton.

Police believe a woman may have witnessed the collision, and are hoping to speak with her. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Camrose RCMP at 780-672-3342.
