MONTREAL – Montreal artist Guillaume Blanchet has created a whimsical video about a man who spends a year on his bicycle that’s started to go viral.
Dedicated to his 64-year-old father who has already clocked over 120,000 km and is still going strong, it shows Blanchet living on his bike for 382 days.
He rides during the heat of summer and the chill of winter and is seen biking while brushing his teeth, cooking an egg and ironing his shirt.
The video ends with a scene that strikes at the heart of bike owners everywhere.
The vignette is not only a tribute to the art of cycling, it offers a wonderful perspective of Montreal from two wheels.
