Vancouver police are investigating an assault that sent a woman to hospital over the weekend.
A 24-year-old woman called 911 saying she was assaulted shortly after 10 a.m. near the Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club located at 4300 SW Marine Drive.
The victim told police she was walking on the lower trail when she was attacked by an unknown man. She was taken to hospital where she was treated for minor injuries.
The suspect is described as being 40 to 50 years old with a heavy build, olive skin, and shoulder-length dark hair.
