EDMONTON — Three men were rushed to hospital after an assault involving weapons on the Louis Bull First Nation early Saturday morning.
Maskwacis RCMP were called to the first nation, which is about 100 kilometres south of Edmonton, at approximately 5 a.m.
The RCMP investigation has revealed that a fight with weapons led to the three men being injured, two of them seriously.
One man was flown to an Edmonton-area hospital by STARS. The second man was taken to an Edmonton-area hospital by ground ambulance and the third was taken to Ponoka Hospital and later released.
RCMP say the serious injuries sustained by the first two men are now believed to be non-life threatening.
