On Sunday, Stony Plain RCMP said an 18-year-old had been arrested and charged in the woman’s death. However, police said he was a youth at the time of the death, so his name will not be released under conditions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The man is scheduled to appear in Stony Plain Provincial Court on June 5.
