TORONTO – Video of a police officer in Virginia has gone viral for its unique look at one cop’s personal life – and it sure is adorable.

High School Resource Officer Kenny Bowman arrived at his Roanoke home from a day of work in April to find his children, Rylee and Blake, driving a toy power wheels car. He took the opportunity to ‘pull them over’ in an undeniably cute video he shared on Facebook April 13.

“I just came home from work one day in uniform, got out of the car, saw my kids were playing with their power wheel, I thought it would be cute to do a little video,” he told WDBJ7.

Both Rylee and Blake were given turns playing the ‘suspect’ who is forced to answer questions.

“Do you guys know why I pulled you over today?” Bowman can be heard asking his kids.

“Because [we’re] too cute,” his daughter and son replied when it was their turn.

“What are you, a bunch of wise guys?” Bowman said moments before drama unfolded when he asked to see a driver’s license.

“He has no backup – floor it!” his daughter shouts.

“We put it on Facebook and it got shared from someone to a law enforcement website and it just basically started going everywhere,” he added.

Bowman is using his 15 minutes of fame to hopefully change the perception some citizens may have of approaching and communicating with authorities.

“Show them who you are. Just let people [know] you can come talk to us about anything,” he told reporter Nadia Singh. “Let us know what’s going on in your neighbourhood. See if we can help out.”
