WATCH: The body of missing canoeist Remy Nolet has been recovered, two weeks after he disappeared. The 19-year-old sacrificed his life so his friend could live, after the canoe they were in overturned in the Chambly Basin during bad weather. Mike Armstrong reports.
MONTREAL – Chambly police have confirmed that a body recovered from the Chambly Basin on Monday afternoon is that of Remy Nolet.
Nolet, 19, disappeared two weeks ago when a boat he was in capsized.

Catherine Desautels, 17, was with Nolet at the time of the accident, but she survived after he insisted she take the only life jacket on board.
Volunteer divers had continued the search for the missing teen after police had called the search off.
