EDMONTON — RCMP in Boyle pulled over a couple driving a golf cart down the road late Saturday night.
Officers were patrolling a village east of Boyle when they saw the golf cart on the road.
The driver was pulled over for an infraction under the Traffic Safety Act, but while he was pulled over, the RCMP discovered he had been drinking and asked him to provide a breath sample.

The driver was over the provincial limit and was issued a three-day immediate roadside suspension. The golf cart was seized for three days.
He was also given a $310 ticket for driving an unregistered motor vehicle.
The other person in the golf cart – a woman – was given a $115 ticket for transporting alcohol in an open container.
