MONTREAL — On May 17 at midnight, a woman stole a taxi in St. Leonard while the driver was parked at a gas station.

As the keys were left in the ignition, the woman passenger decided to take the car instead of paying the fare.

The car was later found unscathed, at the corner of Bourret Avenue and Lemieux Street in Cote-des-Neiges.

The taxi driver has not pressed charges.

Manuel Couture, spokesperson for the Montreal Police, says that no investigation is underway.

“If, by pure coincidence, we found out who the woman was, then they could file the complaint,” he added.
