People buzzing about new exhibit

New exhibit, "Insects, Flowers, & Food" opens at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum. Global News

REGINA – Bug enthusiasts will be extra excited to go to the Royal Saskatchewan Museum over the next six months.

A New Exhibit, “Insects, Flowers and Food”, has opened at the museum for the summer.

The exhibit focuses on how pollinators affect the food consumed by humans worldwide. People of all ages were out for the unveiling.

Cory Sheffield, Curator of Invertebrate Zoology, is hoping the exhibit will help spread a positive message about bees and other insects.

“Anything that we can do to encourage the conservation of bees and pollination or too enhance the public knowledge of this process is exactly what we’re trying to do,” said Sheffield.
