WINNIPEG — Transit users may experience scheduling delays beginning Monday as worker’s plan to refuse overtime.

The union faces a potential strike and is advising the public that they will start refusing overtime as of Monday, April 27. The last time Winnipeg Transit workers went on strike was in 1976.

This may result in service disruptions for Winnipeg Transit and its riders. Disruptions may include late or cancelled bus service on any number of routes throughout the day. Customers should be prepared for possible Transit delays.
