TORONTO — Musician Twin Shadow is set to undergo reconstructive surgery on his hand this week after his tour bus crashed into a tractor-trailer Friday morning on a Colorado highway.

Twin Shadow drummer Andy Bauer and bus driver John Crawford were in hospital listed in serious condition Monday.

According to Warner Music, 12 people on the bus were taken to local hospitals following the crash.

Police said the bus drove into the back of a tractor-trailer that was stopped in traffic due to a chain reaction accident caused by heavy fog.

A tour bus for country band Thompson Square was also involved but none of the 10 people onboard were injured. A message on the group’s Facebook page reads: “Our band and crew are all ok and injury free, and damage to our crew bus was minimal. There was another tour bus involved belonging to the rock band Twin Shadow who sadly were not so fortunate.
