UPDATE: RCMP have located Fayant.
SURREY, BC — Surrey RCMP are asking people to keep an eye out for a man they’re describing as “high risk”.
Steven Fayant was reported missing Monday.
He was last seen in Surrey, but there is information that he may be travelling by bus to Kelowna, and perhaps continuing on to Alberta.
A man by the name of Steven Fayant was sentenced in 2013 to 22 months in jail after pleading guilty to two separate attacks including grabbing a bus driver by the throat and stabbing a bus passenger.
Fayant is described as 22 years old, six feet tall, and 155 pounds.
He has brown hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a grey or white hoodie, grey sweat pants, sneakers and
a black leather jacket.
If you see him, you’re asked not to approach him but do call your local RCMP detachment.
