Air France plane makes emergency landing in Halifax

A plane flying from Paris to Chicago was diverted to Halifax Stanfield International Airport Tuesday night after declaring an emergency.

Air France Flight 6738, a Boeing 777 cargo plane, landed safely. Reports said the plane had only one functioning engine.

The three crew members on board were not injured.
