Winnipeg Jets fans plan party with win in Colorado Thursday night
WINNIPEG –Their team is more than 1,000 kilometres away in Denver, Colo., but Jets fans are getting ready to celebrate a win in Winnipeg.
Winnipeg hockey fans were having trouble Thursday afternoon focusing on anything other than potentially making the NHL playoffs for the first time since 1996. A win against the Colorado Avalanche Thursday evening guarantees the hockey-mad city a wild-card spot.
