MONTREAL – A cabbie was attacked early Monday morning by three men, who tied him to his steering wheel before beating him with a stick.
After collecting his passengers at the intersection of Ontario and Berri, the cab driver headed to Montreal North where he was attacked.
He was tied to his steering wheel and the three men punched and hit his upper body and head with a stick.
They then took his money and fled the scene.
The cab driver is being treated in hospital for minor head injuries and nervous shock.
Police are looking for three white males in their mid-twenties.
