VANCOUVER – Conservation officers are expected to be out in the Fraser Valley Monday morning to look for a stranded deer.
They say a number of people have called them about a deer that appears to be stuck at the bottom of Cascade Falls, near Mission.
The animal does not appear to be hurt, but callers are concerned that it is staying in the precarious spot. Conservation officers say it’s possible the deer is staying put in an effort to avoid people. They say they have not had a chance to assess the situation yet.
