HALIFAX – Police in Edmonton believe a man with alleged ties to a Mexican drug cartel is back in Nova Scotia.
Peter Alan Griffon is one of four people alleged to be a part of drug activity in Alberta.
Alberta police say he skipped his last court date, breached other bail conditions, and is likely now back in Nova Scotia.
He was arrested in December in Edmonton and police allege he is a member of La Familia, a gang with ties to Mexican drug cartels.
Earlier this week, two of Griffon’s known associates were re-arrested and charged in connection with several drug offenses.
If you have any information you’re asked to call police.
