TORONTO – A portion of Eglinton Ave. W. is closed to traffic after a tow truck crashed into a hydro pole early Friday morning.
The incident happened in front of an apartment building between Bathurst St. and Allen Rd.

A dashcam video recorded by Global News shows an explosion just after the tow truck collided with the hydro pole.
Despite the accident, no injuries were reported.
Hydro crews are currently on scene assessing the damage and conducting repairs.
