DELTA, B.C. – A 53-year-old man has died in Delta after being crushed by a falling tree.
The man was clearing trees for Paul’s Tree Service in the 7900 block of Huston Road when one came down and crushed him around 9 a.m. on Saturday.

A spokesman for WorkSafe B.C. says they received a call at about 10:15 a.m. and sent three investigators.
Scott McCloy says the incident is a tragedy and investigators will work to determine what happened and how such an event could be prevented in the future.
Delta Police are also investigating.
