Madonna bringing ‘Rebel Heart’ tour to Canada

TORONTO — Days after hitting the floor at a British awards show, Madonna announced Monday she is hitting the road — and coming to Canada.

The 56-year-old pop star will launch her 35-city Rebel Heart Tour on Aug. 29 in Miami.

Madonna will play Montreal’s Bell Centre on Sept. 9 adn 10, Toronto’s Air Canada Centre on Oct. 5 and 6, Edmonton’s Rexall Place on Oct. 11 and 12 and Vancouver’s Rogers Arena on Oct. 14.

The tour runs until Dec. 20 with a concert in Glasgow.

Tickets for all shows will go on sale on March 9. Online purchases will include a digital download of the “Super Deluxe” version of Rebel Heart. The new album is due out March 10.

The tour will be Madonna’s first since the MDNA Tour in 2012.
