ATLANTA – The man Whitney Houston’s daughter calls her husband says he is looking for permission from Bobbi Kristina Brown‘s family to visit her in the hospital.
Nick Gordon said in a statement through his lawyers Randy Kessler and Joe Habacy on Wednesday night that he hopes his request will be granted. The 21-year-old Bobbi Kristina was found in her bathtub face-down and unresponsive Jan. 31 in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Her family has said she’s been “fighting for her life” at Emory University Hospital.
Gordon’s lawyers say their client “desperately” wants to see Bobbi Kristina. The statement says he has not tried to return to the hospital and risk a public confrontation.
Bobbi Kristina is the only daughter of singers Bobby Brown and Houston.
Brown’s lawyer hasn’t responded to numerous requests seeking comment.
