What do you do when you want to have a rowdy dance party but don’t want to violate noise regulations?
You hold a silent disco, where attendees are fitted with headphones which blare the tunes directly to each person’s ears.
The popularity of silent discos is spreading around the world and devotees of the trend say it’s here to stay.
“Everybody loves music, but people need to sleep. So this is a win-win for everybody,” silent disco event company founder Robbie Kowal tells KPIX.
Photos of silent disco events held around the world have flooded social media in recent months.
