Halifax police identify woman’s body found in Shubie Park

HALIFAX – Police say a woman whose body was found Saturday morning in a Halifax-area park was the victim of a homicide.

A man walking in Shubie Park, in Dartmouth, spotted the body of 27-year-old Christina Kathleen Cline, of Dartmouth, and contacted police at 10:39 a.m.

Halifax Regional Police say Cline’s body was found in an area of the park known as Vivian’s Way.

Police had not said how she died, but investigators located Cline’s vehicle in Dartmouth later Saturday and seized it as a part of the investigation.
