A woman is in hospital after an accident involving a Delta Police cruiser at Scott Road and 80th Avenue this afternoon.
According to a Delta Police Inspector Harj Sidhu, the woman is four months pregnant, and while she was conscious and alert afterwards, she was sent to Surrey Memorial for precautionary reasons

“Our officer was responding to an assault incident in North Delta,” said Sidhu. “As he was going through the intersection…an accident occurred and we’re investigating what happened.”
Traffic on Scott Road in the area is slow as investigators work to determine the cause of the collision.
