Hamilton man, 31, charged with aggravated assault after child injured

HAMILTON – A Hamilton man is due in court Tuesday after an injured child was taken to hospital.

Police say they were called to a home on Cannon Street East on Friday afternoon to investigate a report of a child suffering injuries.

The child remains in hospital.

A man at the home was arrested.

Donald Quick, 31, has been charged with aggravated assault.

Police say their investigation is continuing.
