Saskatoon man’s YouTube video going viral

SASKATOON – A Saskatoon man’s posting to YouTube is attracting attention across the web. Ben Schmidt posted “365 – A Word Per Day Reflection On Time” on New Year’s Eve and by Monday, there were over 33,000 views.

With scenes from the city as its backdrop, the caption states it was “made using one word from clips taken once a day for an entire year.” During the video, Schmidt reflects on the changes that occur in the environment and one’s self as time moves forward.

“No matter how much we might want to make time stand still or speed things along, the year will keep steadily marching forward,” said Schmidt, in the video.

The video has also been featured on a number of other websites, including bustle.com, boingboing.net and petapixel.com.
