KINGSCLEAR, N.B. – New Brunswick RCMP are asking for the public’s help following a New Years Day stabbing incident.
Police say a 28-year-old man from the Kingsclear First Nation was seriously injured after he was stabbed on the reserve sometime in the early hours of Thursday.

The Mounties say the man remains in hospital and is reported in stable condition.
No other details were released.
Police say anyone with information should call the Keswick RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
