WINNIPEG — Emergency crews responded to the intersection of Sherbrook Street and Alexander Avenue after a car struck a pedestrian and continued on and hit a parked vehicle.
Two occupants of the car fled the scene before emergency crews arrived.
The pedestrian was transported to hospital in critical condition and remains there now.
Sherbrook Street between Pacific Avenue and Alexander Avenue was closed after the crash and not opened until around 10:00 a.m. Saturday.
