MONTREAL – A man in his forties fell to his death from a second floor apartment balcony in the Plateau on Saturday.
At around 7 a.m. police received a call from passersby who discovered the injured man outside the triplex on Fabre street.

SPVM spokesperson Manuel Couture said the man was shovelling snow off his balcony, when he fell head first onto the icy ground.
He was rushed to hospital but died of his injuries.
