CONRICH, Alta. – RCMP in southern Alberta are trying to find the owners of property seized during the arrest of two suspected saddle rustlers.

The Mounties have released pictures of six saddles that may have been stolen in Saskatchewan and Alberta. One of the saddles has markings similar to a cattle brand and some of the others have distinctive leather work.

Police seized the saddles last month during a raid on a chop shop in a rural area east of Calgary.  Other property seized in the raid included vehicles and farm equipment valued at $250,000.

Richard Ferber of Black Diamond, Alta., and Harris Parent of Calgary face stolen property charges.
