TORONTO — Justin Bieber’s year has been dominated by headlines about his bad behaviour — but none of it has hurt his bank account.
The 20-year-old Canadian pop star tops the Forbes list of the highest earning entertainers under 30.
The magazine estimated Bieber earned $80 million in the 12 months that ended in June 2014.
The list was compiled using data from Forbes annual Celebrity 100 list.
All but one of the Top 10 entertainers under 30 are in the music industry.
Following Bieber is British group One Direction ($75 million), Taylor Swift ($64 million), Bruno Mars ($60 million), Rihanna ($48 million) and Miley Cyrus ($36 million).
Actress Jennifer Lawrence of The Hunger Games franchise is ranked seventh with estimated earnings of $34 million.
The rest of the Top 10 consists of Lady Gaga ($33 million), Avicii ($28 million) and Skrillex ($18 million).
