EDMONTON – Edmonton police are hoping the public can help find a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant in connection with the 2011 death of an Edmonton resident.

Gordon Shaw, 60, was charged with second-degree murder in August 2011 for the May 2011 death of 70-year-old Robert Anderson.

Officers discovered Anderson’s body in his home at 65 Street and 128 Avenue on Tuesday, May 31, 2011, after concerned neighbours reported they had not seen or heard from him for several days.

Shaw was arrested in Port Alberni, B.C. but he was transferred to Edmonton.

However, Shaw didn’t appear in court on September 9.

Police believe Shaw doesn’t have a fixed address and leads a “transient lifestyle.”

He has been known to spend time in British Columbia, specifically in the Okanagan area and Vancouver Island.
