REGINA – A semi-truck caught fire on the Trans-Canada Highway near Moose Jaw on Wednesday morning, slowing down traffic.
RCMP are currently directing traffic on Highway 1, and say the semi ignited due to a mechanical issue.

Traffic is currently restricted in the eastbound lanes approximately two miles east of the Highway 39 turn-off.
Drivers should expect delays in the area for the next several hours as emergency crews ensure the flames are extinguished and clean up the scene.
