Mission woman wins the 2014 PNE Prize Home

Happiness can come in many different forms but for one Mission woman, it came in the shape of a brand new home.

Carol Ehlers, 54, had the winning ticket for the 2014 PNE Prize Home draw. But it was Ehlers’ husband Ralph who got the good news over the phone from Mike McDaniel, PNE president and CEO.

It turns out the couple had not been to the PNE in 15 years and when they attended this year, they bought the ticket. There were 112,000 sheets of tickets sold.

The grand prize luxury home boasts spectacular valley and lake views nestled on an estate-sized lot on Kelowna’s Kirschner Mountain. The home’s interior has been designed by celebrity designer, and Kelowna resident, Jillian Harris.

The energy-efficient luxury home was professionally designed and built by Britco and the grand prize includes furniture and accessories from Lane Home Furnishings; Jenn-Air and Maytag appliances; an outdoor living package and a $2,500 grocery gift package.
