EDMONTON – The PC party will soon have a new leader and the province will soon have a new premier, but how soon is still not certain.

The first round of voting will take place this Saturday, with card-carrying PC members having their choice between leadership candidates Ric McIver, Jim Prentice, and Thomas Lukaszuk.

However, if no candidate receives a majority, a second round of voting with the top two candidates will happen on September 20.

All party members are eligible to vote.
