SASKATOON – Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch in southern Saskatchewan.

The agency says scattered thunderstorms are developing in an unstable airmass over southern areas of the province.

These storms are capable of producing damaging winds, large hail and heavy rain.

The agency says some of these storms could become severe Sunday afternoon or early evening.
