Black bear spotted in High River

HIGH RIVER- The RCMP is asking people in High River to be on the lookout for a black bear spotted earlier Saturday.

The bear was seen walking down a rural driveway just east of town.

Mounties say it didn’t show any aggressive behavior and was believed to be helping itself to some honey from a honey farm in the area.

If you do see the bear, you’re asked to call High River RCMP or Alberta Fish and Wildlife.
