MONTREAL – Police are on the scene of a suspicious death after the body of a 29-year-old man was found in a vehicle in the Plateau-Mont-Royal.
At around 11:30 a.m., police received a 911 call from a passerby who discovered the body inside a burgundy car.
It was parked on Des Érables avenue, a residential street in the Plateau.
“There was no evidence of violence on the body,” said Montreal police Constable Danny Richer.
“But investigators found some evidence at the scene so that’s why it is a suspicious death.”
There will be an autopsy next week to determine the cause of death.
The victim is unknown to police.
