New West police searching for man who held up taxi driver at knifepoint

New Westminster Police are looking for a man who robbed a taxi driver with a knife.

Police say that on July 27 around 4 a.m., a driver picked up a man who asked to go to a location in New Westminster.

When they arrived, the man threatened the driver with a knife and demanded money.

The suspect is described as white, 20-25 years old, 6’0″, thin, dark ball cap, sunglasses, black t-shirt and dark shorts.
