Missing 84-year-old woman in Vaughan found safe

Jeronima Laureckaite was last seen on the August 27, 2014 at about 7 p.m. York Regional Police

TORONTO – York Regional Police have located a missing 84-year-old woman in Vaughan.

Jeronima Laureckaite was last seen on the Aug. 27 at about 7 p.m. after she left her home to go for a walk in the Keele Street and Peak Point Boulevard area.

Police says she was found by a ground search team and is safe. She is expected to be reunited with her family this morning.

LOCATED Jeronima LAURECKAITE, 84, has just been located by ground searchers. Will be united with family shortly. Thank you for assistance.
