EDMONTON – Flames and plumes of black smoke could be seen billowing from a home in Edmonton’s Belmont community around 6 p.m. on Monday.

Global 1’s helicopter flew over the scene at Harrow Circle as fire crews fought the flames.
Fire investigators say the blaze started on the north side of the home, but the cause has yet to be determined.
They add that it’s still too soon to put a dollar figure on the losses.
