VANCOUVER — Doctors warned Connor Dick’s family that he may never recover, after falling from the Student Union Building at UBC where he was working as a sheet metal roofer. He suffered multiple fractures to his face and head, broken bones and a traumatic brain injury. But Dick has made amazing strides in his recovery – and the big baseball fan has a lot to practice for. Tonight, he was practicing to throw the first pitch at the Vancouver Canadian’s baseball game.
