REGINA – A CN Rail train derailed early Wednesday morning near the Co-op refinery complex in Regina.
CN spokesperson Emily Hamer said all eight train cars were empty and confirmed the derailment happened on the rail company’s tracks during switching operations.

The train cars were cleaned up and the tracks reopened within 24-hours. No one was injured.
The cause is under investigation.
