Previous story (August 19, 2014):
A West End apartment building had to be locked down due to a home invasion Tuesday afternoon.
The Vancouver Police Department received a call around 3:30 p.m. regarding a home invasion in the suite of an apartment building located in the Davie and Denman Street area.
Investigators say they received a report that a man with a gun had forced his way into a suite.
During the invasion, one man fled to a neighbouring restaurant where he called 9-1-1.
A second man managed to escape from the suite by jumping from a balcony.
That victim was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Two other victims, one man and one woman, were located inside the building.
They were unhurt.
Police say the search of the building revealed that the suspect had left prior to the arrival of police.
Two of the victims, both men in their 20s, are known to police and appear to have been targeted.
