SASKATOON – A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Saskatoon and surrounding areas and extends to parts of western Saskatchewan.
Environment Canada says conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds, large hail and heavy rain.
The storms are expected to develop Tuesday afternoon in the southwest part of the province and could persist into the evening.
