PENTICTON, BC – The Valley First Challenge Penticton, Canada race is just six days away.
“We’re so excited to be having 18 countries represented in this race,” says Kelly Hopkins, manager of marketing and events.
About 1,200 racers are expected, which is 300 more than the inaugural year.
But before the athletes race, there are a number of community events happening:
August 21: 5 KM & 1 KM Fun Run and Party in the Park
August 22: Junior Triathlon and The Underpants Run
August 23: The Ogopogo Swim (1 KM & 500 M)
August 24: 2014 Valley First Challenge Penticton and midnight Fireworks display
